Two days after the death of Brian Jones, the Rolling Stones played before 250,000 people in Hyde Park, July 5, 1969, with informal "security" provided by Hell's Angels. Jagger read quotations from Shelley in Jones' memory ("He hath awakened from the dream of life") and released 2,000 butterflies - half of which turned out to be deceased.
